Lobstering off the Jerse y coast back in the 70's. I think the boats name was Brubar, a brand new aluminum 65'er. Got caught in a storm returning from the grounds 50 miles offshore. Cap’n told us to get below and strap in. We did. Got back safe with all of the cockroaches in the holds but nothing left of po ts or gear on deck. All the windows in the pilothouse were gone, too. And the beautiful wooden wheel was broken off. Cap’n used a big set of ViseGrips here, too.
